I never really knew how kind of disgusting clams are. I just thought they were shells with goop inside of them that lived on the sea floor. I had no idea that inside those tiny shells lives this giant tongue like thing called the foot that allows a clam to examine its surroundings.
Do you have any good recipes for cooking up these odd little sea creatures?
