In the aftermath of a tragic massacre that happened in Aurora, Colorado last night we as Americans need to be challenged. We need to be challenged to stand up for our convictions and live our lives with purposeful intention. Mortality is a fact, not a maybe and when I look at my life I want to know that it was a life worth living. In a time when our words and actions will help to determine the course of this country for the next four years this poet and teacher, Taylor Mali, challenges us to do just that, speak with conviction. He entreats us to live with determination and as if our lives were created to have meaning and purpose.
