Senators are not usually known for their acting skills, but according to “Parks and Recreation” star Adam Scott, legislative skills translate well to the small screen.
“They’re all really good. You realize that they’re senators, so they’re used to just walking around and just bullsh—ing, so they’re really good actors,” Scott told “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Thursday night.
ens. John McCain (R-Ariz.), Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) and Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) all filmed cameos for an episode of the sitcom returning to NBC on Sept. 20.
“He acts in it and he’s really good,” Scott said of McCain. “It was really an honor to meet him, he’s like cracking jokes, he’s like a grandfather that comes over and has right-wing attitudes.”
McCain filmed the cameo in July and tweeted that he had a great time. “I think it’s an Emmy!” he joked.
