Bill Clinton got rave reviews for his speech at the Democratic National Convention. My wife said: “Clinton was great. He made Republicans look like liars and losers.” Clinton, now a sainted elder statesman, also gets credit for the booming economy of the ‘90s.

Today, he appears in an Obama commercial — in full “I feel your pain” mode — saying that Obama “has a plan to rebuild America from the ground up.”

When someone claims anyone can rebuild a society from the ground up, I say he is arrogant and delusional.

Clinton then tries to scare viewers by telling them that Republicans want to “go back to deregulation. That’s what got us in trouble in the first place.”

Ah, the progressives’ George W. Bush deregulation myth: Bush’s anti-regulation crusade caused our problems. This is a lie that seems true because of constant media repetition. In fact, Bush talked deregulation but vastly increased the regulatory state. He hired an astounding 90,000 new regulators. Under Democrats and Republicans, regulation grows.

    this man is nothing but a wind bag. he has no class,no morals, no brains,no solutions. if i were running for president i definately wouldn’t have him campaining for me. he’s just looking for more handouts because he probably spends most of the money from being in office on hookers and not to help them out of that miserable life either. he is a selfish self centered man but he’s in good company hangin with the democrats. my grandma was old when she died but she had alot of wisdom. isn’t that what age is suppose to do? i guess mr.clinton missed that line. wish he’d get a clue.

    I don’t have any respect for Bill Clinton, or his wife Hillary. because when he was in office and was caught in a sex scandal, and got off. all it did was teach the youngsters of today it was OK to have Sex before you were married… As
    “Oral Sex isn’t Sex” what a piece of crap// as far as Hillary goes… why didn’s she divorce the SOB when this went down?
    Money is why….. they are both pretty Sad as far as someone looking up to them.

    Sorry he is the one who started this whole thing with his weakness around the Cole and the first bombing on the WTC. He was too busy with Monica and whomever he was with, I never got the”love” for him. I did feel awful awful when 5 year olds were asking about oral sex due to him and his.”oral sex is not sex routine” all over the news .Sad their innocence was spoiled by someone who was the president of the USA. He lowered the bar big time and now we have Obama. The bar could not get much lower.
    We lived out of country during his reign and when we returned towards the end of his time, I looked around and said I feel like I am living “Its a wonderful Life” when I left it was Bailey town and when I returned the USA felt more like Pottersville..I guess not living here for a few years I saw things more clearly.

      The economy housing bubble, mortgages, etc.” appeared” to be growing while he was President, however, This is when all of the corruption began. The Banks were lending to illegal immigrants, persons who didn’t really qualify for loans but he was promoting “all Americans can own a home”.
      Snot Nose Bush was elected & he wasn’t the brightest bulb in the pack & when he elected for America to become involved in the Middle East (Iraq/Afganistan) all came to a head, hence our economy snow-balled & naturally he took the hit & still is!! Enough is Enough. Many do not want to admit or recognize Clinton’s role in the deterioration of America’s Economy because they were making money hand over fist from over inflated worth/value of everything from stocks to homes. I believe this was the ultimate reason he was not impeached, regardless of the fact he refused to be removed from office.
      I agree that our next President needs to be a person w/Business experience, & knowledge & truly cares about our Country. This present President is a Disgrace & has no Respect for our Country or Service Men & Women.

      You’re right on..How quickly everyone has conveniently forgot all that happened while Clinton was president. Why aren’t the Republicans reminding the public about this. The democrats like to continually to bash the two Bush presidents..but bury the facts about Clinton’s time in the office. Isn’t he the one that was impeached. How great was he if all these things happened on his watch?

        The main problem is the news media, they never say anything wrong about Obama; with the exception of fox news. Even now, when the president of Libya said that the attack on Benghazi consulate was a well planned attack, they still say that it was the film (and by the way, the film came out at the beginning of August). The WH and secretary of state Hillary Clinton, still blaming the film.

      Especially since muslim’s think their women are the lowest level of humans there are – if they even think they are humans. They are treated worse than any animal – so what makes him any different. And slick willy is just as low as anyone can be with his treatment of women and lack of respect for them. They are things for him to walk on. And hillary is just as bad but then again she likes women.

      Worried does not begin to cover it! There are thousands of Americans looking for places to gather away from the main stream for protection fro HIS government. Thousands have already chosen to leave the country. Thousands more are looking into doing so! Millions will hunker down in misery and pray for a savior!

    Amazing how people choose to forget painful, distasteful moments in teir lives. Sort of like the mind blocks the pains of birth or women might not choose to go through it again!
    The Clintons came to power admid stories of scandal and death. Willy thought nothing of tying up LA Airport for hours while he got his fave hair stylist ($600 a session) to come aboard an do him. He lied to the American people and lied to Congress and smiled his way through it all. His “associations” with China were highly suspectbut concerns were smothered.
    On a more petty level it is said the Clintons packed up things from the White House that belonged to The People on their departure.
    Willy and Hillary called Obama every name possible in 2008. Right up to selling their backing and their SOULS to get out of the deep financial hole the campaign had dug.
    Is Slick Willy really a person you want to put your trust in?

    sue wegner – like very much your response. He is everything you say and more. He also is a person that is only for himself. I have heard a lot of remarks – people that know what they are talking about – about hillary being homosexual – so no wonder willy is like he is. Just look at her – what is appealing about her, but of course he makes me nauseated to look at him too and always have. Yes he is probably blowing his millions he gets for “speeches” on his girlfriends.

    How is it that when Bill Clinton says “I feel your pain” the liberal media lauds him, but when Mitt Romney says the same thing he is made to look like he’s posturing to get votes? Mr. Clinton is also a multi-millionaire and along with his wife became rich on investments. Why is Romney’s wealth such a problem for the left? Pot callin’ the kettle black?
