Will American Leadership Stand up for America’s 1st Amendment?

Muslim cleric Abu Islam Burns the Holy Bible in front of thousands of Muslims at protest outside the US Embassy in Cairo, Egypt, on Tuesday, 9/11. His action was met with applause and anti-Christian cheers from the demonstrators.

According to Mary Abdelmassih in a story carried by the Assyrian International News Agency, the cleric, before leaving the demonstration and getting into his car, told the crowds “next time I will urinate on it.”

Abdelmassih went on to report that Dr. Mustafa Maraghy, professor of law and Islamic law at Cairo University, filed a complaint with the Attorney General against the cleric, whose real name is Ahmed Abdullah. The complaint cited Abdullah, who is the owner of the TV channel the Islamic Nation, for contempt of religion, disturbing public security and peace.

    That is just silly. You can take away our Bible, but you can NOT take away God’s words that we have hid in our hearts. One day, every knee will bow, and every tongue confess that He is Lord!

    I hope so but I fear not if we continue the current leadership. We must get obama out. Most of his cabinet chiefs all have ties to the the socialist party of america. Nobody talks about it but I believe his purpose is not to make us stronger but to make us weaker. Soros brings countries down by betting against them. Obama will bring us down by dividing us into little parts. If we don’t pull together soon and defend the Constitution we will not have an america left to defend. While his Ambassador to the UN is telling us the whole problem in the middle east is because of a movie the president of Libya is on TV saying that it was not a movie but premeditated, coordinated acts by terrorists not even citizens of Libya. I’ll bet nbc did even carry that segment on TV.

      you are 100 percent right. i just wish people would take a stand..everyone is so weak and just concerned with their own private needs all the time. I write letters and try to do what I can but it is frustrating b/c even friends say Oh don’t get me involved.Sad.

    No! They have not so far. Look at what happened to Michelle Bachman when she questioned how close some Muslins are, i.e., Hillary’s long time asst. And the Republicans bashed her. Now look what has happened AND Florida has a city that wants to make modifications to one’s Free Speech!!
    Yes, God knows what is in our heart; however, we need to stand up for him, too!!

    Someone needs to tell the holy Imam that paper and print do not make a Bible. Jesus, the way the truth and the life is with us, as are his words deep within our hearts and If he is waiting for us to run wildly into a Mosque pointing fingers and spewing hate, he’ll have a long wait. The only people he will incite to pre-school whinning and shreiking will be his inbred fellow religionists who will probably kill a few of their confreres by carelessly shooting the unwary in the head. One can only hope the unwary will include this holy Imam to claim his 72 virgins. After all, inciting to Jihad should count. . One less fatwa for us to sneer at. As his demented troops would say, Inshallah !

    It hurts to read and hear things of this nature. It’s just vindictive and mean, shows a lack of respect for others as well as one’s self.
    Abdullah’s behavior is disgusting and crude and not worthy of a human being. I pray for his hardened heart.
