Leno: ‘We Wasted Four Years Waiting For Obama To Do Something About The Economy’

Can anyone say “Finally!” I never understood why the more outspoken comedians (Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, Conan O’Brien, SNL, etc…) never seem to make a good crack about our current president. I mean I can understand it from a political perspective, they are supporting their champion.

But I can’t figure out how they never once made fun of him. I’m no comedian, but I make fun of everyone. My friends make fun of everyone, my parents make fun of everyone. I surround myself with funny people because I truly believe laughter is the best medicine.

If you have a funny bone in your body you tend to exercise it on everyone around you. Friends, family, teachers, actors, my husband, and even random people on the street are susceptible. It’s not malicious, it’s just for fun.

It’s a coping mechanism. I use humor to cope. I may be in stressful or a tense situation or it could be because I’ve got my sassy pants on. I find it very strange that in the realm of comedians (who for sure use humor not just as a coping mechanism, but as a way to relate to humanity) refuse to make any jokes about President Obama.

It is truly refreshing to see any celebrity taking a pot shop at the OPOT- US. We know if O stopped short people like Letterman would need medical attention!
There has been alot of talk about IF THERE IS A MEDIA BIAS IN FAVOR OF OBAMA?
IF, IF you say!. The media annointed him years ago. To say anything bad about him now would be proof of HOW VERY WRONG THEY WERE!

I don’t see much that’s humorous about Obama. I really feel like regurgitating if I see his image on news videos, or hear him making his usual statements of fantasy. The last laugh I had on Obama was seeing him “try” to throw a baseball from the Pitcher’s Mound to Home Plate. Obama threw from a few feet ahead of the mound and the man at Home Plate was a few feet ahead of the plate, wearing an outfielder’s glove.
The ball described a high arc, about 10 feet high, to about 5 feet to the left and never got to Home Plate. The man at Home Plate had to go to his right to catch it.
Years ago, I played H.S. baseball and also in the Army for my division. Watching that comical demonstration, which Obama probably felt was serious, him wearing brand-new baseball paraphernalia for the occasion, but not throwing on par with 7 year old kids, that gave me a good laugh….until I recalled that George Bush threw a perfect, high velocity pitch, at a professionally regulation distance at Yankee Stadium, when he was President.

Well, most presidents don’t threaten to kill you or deport you for making a crack about them….
