Executive Editor

Judy Biviano Lloyd’s 30 years in politics, government, and business in Washington, D.C., New York, and California have placed her in roles inside government as a public official and outside of government as a private sector citizen.

She is a frequent commentator on business and politics at www.thefoxandhoundsdaily.com and here at www.ThoughtfulWomen.org.

Lloyd was appointed by two U.S.Presidents to high level roles at domestic policy agencies, served as special assistant to the U.S. Senate Majority Leader, and also as staff assistant for a New York Congressman.

She has walked the halls of the Executive and Legislative branches of government and has seen how Congress and red-tape bureaucrats work.

Through her tenure in government, she earned exceptional achievement awards for her no nonsense approach and notable government service.

She was featured as a Woman of Distinction in Politics & Government for the East Bay Business Times and participated in the inaugural mission of a U.S. State Department program, Partners in Participation that trained Arab women from six countries on how to be good public servants.

Lloyd lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and son and serves in leadership roles for state and local non-profit organizations that empower women in business and deal with health care and taxpayer policy.

An avid rock & roller, Lloyd loves attending Bay Area concert venues and was seen in the 1980’s and 1990’s at more than an occasional Grateful Dead, Aerosmith and Bruce Springsteen show.

She never misses an opportunity to see a good baseball game, whether it’s the Majors, the Minors, or Little League.
